- Saturday, Oct. 29, 6-7:30 p.m., downtown Crystal Springs Mississippi's Toughest Kids Foundation will sponsor the 2nd annual Trunk or Treat.
It's time for the Jackson Zoo’s infamous safe family fall event -- Boo at the Zoo. This year the event is scheduled for two weekends for a total of six nights -- Oct. 20-22 and Oct. 27-29 from 5 - 8 p.m. each night.
- China Grove M.B. Church 14th Annual Family Fun Day
The China Grove M. B. Church, at 3317 Forest Avenue Extension, in Jackson, will hold its 14th Annual Family Fun Day on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- MARL Fury Friends Festival
Mississippi Animal Rescue League, or MARL, is having a Fury Friends Festival on Saturday, Oct. 29, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is at the MARL shelter located at 5221 Greenway Drive Ext. in Jackson.
- Mt. Calvary MB Church of Tougaloo Harvest Fun Night and “Trunk or Treat”
Mt. Calvary MB Church of Tougaloo located at 350 Hillcrest Street, Jackson is having a Harvest Fun Night featuring Trunk or Treat on Oct. 29, from 5 to 8 p.m.
- Morrison Heights Baptist Church fall harvest
This year Morrison Heights Baptist Church in Clinton will host its annual Fall Harvest on Monday, Oct. 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. Cost of admission is $3 per person or $12 maximum per family.
- Hillcrest Baptist Church fall festival
Hillcrest Baptist Church in Byram will have its annual fall festival Monday, Oct. 31, at 6 p.m. The church is located at 5950 Terry Road.
- Sumner Hill fourth annual Harvest Carnival
The fourth annual Sumner Hill Harvest Carnival is from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, rain or shine in the Sumner Hill gym in Clinton. The carnival is hosted by Sumner Hill’s Future Educators Association.
- Ruth Volunteer Fire Department fifth annual haunted house and carnival
The Ruth Volunteer Fire Department’s fifth annual haunted house is Oct. 28 and 29 from 7 p.m. - midnight.
- Ridgeland Recreation & Parks to host Trunk or Treat
Ridgeland Recreation & Parks will host the annual Trunk or Treat on Thursday, Oct. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. The event will be held at Freedom Ridge Park located at 235 West School Street.
- 10th Annual Flora Heritage Festival
The 10th Annual Flora Heritage Festival will take place Saturday, Oct. 29, from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the lot across from Flora United Methodist Church on Carter Street.
- Paint the Township 6th Annual Fall Festival
The Paint the Township 6th Annual Fall Festival is Saturday, Oct. 29, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- New Destiny Church Fall Festival
New Destiny Church will host it's Fall Festival Oct. 29, 5-9 p.m. Come enjoy hotdogs, a bonfire and games at 122 McBride St., in Richland (one block off Highway 49 S.).
- Truck or treat at Apostolic Revival Center
The Apostolic Revival Center in Ridgeland will host a truck or treat event Sunday, Oct. 30, from 3-7 p.m. The center is located at 151 W. Washington St., off of Highway 51, behind AutoZone.
- Colonial Heights Baptist Church fall festival
Colonial Heights Baptist Church in Ridgeland (444 Northpark Drive) will have its annual fall festival on Sunday, Oct. 30 from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
- Lake Harbor Fire Department Haunted House
The Lake Harbor Fire Department is having its 10th annual haunted house Oct. 21, 22, 28 and 29, from dark-until. It’s at the corner of Highway 43 and Old Highway 43 at Lake Harbor Fire Department station 2 in Brandon.
- Pearl's St. Jude Church revives October festival
St. Jude Catholic Church in Pearl is bringing back its old-fashioned church bazaar. The St. Jude Fall Festival is Saturday, Oct. 22 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the church grounds at 339 Barrow St.
St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Brandon will have its annual Fall Fest Sunday, Oct. 23, from 3-5 p.m. The church is located at 400 Grants Ferry Road. Admission is a bag of candy.
- Truitt Memorial Baptist Church fall festival
Truitt Memorial Baptist Church in Pearl will have a fall festival Saturday, Oct. 29, from 4-7 p.m. Activities include games, food, inflatables, a petting zoo, trunk or treat and a dunking booth.
- First Baptist Church of Fannin Harvest Festival
First Baptist Church of Fannin, located at 101 Church Road in Brandon (off Hwy. 471 near Fannin Landing Circle) will be holding their annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 4 to 7 p.m.
- Pearl UMC Fall Festival
Pearl United Methodist Church on Pearson Road in Pearl is having its fall festival Saturday, Oct. 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be hamburgers, games, inflatables and entertainment.
Brandon First United Methodist Church will have a fall festival Sunday, Oct. 30, from 4 to 6 p.m. Funds raised from food sales and cakewalk will go to support missions. Activities are free.
- 5th annual Sebastopolooza Fall Festival
The 5th annual Sebastopolooza Fall Festival is Saturday, Oct. 29. The event is in Bishop Park in Sebastopol.
- Mendenhall Fire & Rescue Haunted Trail
The Mendenhall Fire & Rescue Strong River Haunted Trail in D’Lo is back. The third annual event is set for five nights – Oct. 21, 22, 28, 29 and 31 from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Simpson County Academy's fall festival is Monday, Oct. 24, from 5-8:30 p.m. at the SCA football field in Mendenhall. Lots of games and vendors means fun for the kids and shopping for the adults.
- Downtown Vicksburg Halloween Treats on the Streets & Costume Contest
Join us in Downtown Vicksburg for the annual Treats on the Streets Halloween event on Saturday, Oct. 29. Come down in your best costume and trick or treat with your favorite Downtown merchants.
- 8th Annual Spooky Pooch Costume Contest
The 8th Annual Spooky Pooch Costume Contest is Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Outlets of Vicksburg. Dress up your pet and enter them into the contest. Registration is from 2 to 2:30 p.m. and the contest begins at 3 p.m. All proceeds go to benefit Paws Rescue in Vicksburg.
