Police: Wanted burglary suspect left car at scene | Crime

The Byram Police Department is searching for a Jackson man accused of burglary of a business.

Police say there is an active warrant for the arrest of 44-year-old Willie Alexa McAllister, who is accused of stealing fence materials from All Metro Fence Company on Interstate 55 in Byram around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police responded to a report of a suspicious person possibly stealing fence materials at the business.

Authorities say McAllister escaped the area and was identified as a suspect because his vehicle was left parked at the scene.
