Free immunizations at county health departments April 22-26

In recognition of National Infant Immunization Week, the Mississippi State Department of Health is offering free routine immunizations for infants and children through 18 years of age at all county health departments the week of April 22-26.

Vaccinations in this promotion include protection for infants, children and adolescents against the following diseases:

Jackson Zoo presents Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

The Jackson Zoo invites you to its annual breakfast with the Easter Bunny and animals Saturday, March 30.

Enjoy a breakfast buffet, animal story time, a zoo tour with Easter treats for the animals, crafts and a special appearance by the Easter Bunny.

Breakfast starts at 8 a.m. Tickets must be purchase in advance.

Kindergarten pre-registration date set for April 23 at Clinton Park

CLINTON — A kindergarten pre-registration day will be held at Clinton Park Elementary School on April 23.

Registration information will be accepted between 4 and 7 p.m. that day at the school. Clinton Park is on Arrow Drive, near the Natchez Trace overpass.

“We ask that parents bring their students with them,” said Clinton Park Principal Suzanne Hollingshead. “At that time we will offer a pizza snack and an opportunity to submit registration documents.”

The trolley rides will be held Dec. 20 and 21 and will showcase the Spirt of Christmas homes in Clinton.

Attaché Performs Fall Revue Dec. 5-8

For more than three decades, Clinton High School’s Attache’ show choir has welcomed the start of the Christmas season. Just weeks away, the 2012 Fall Revue performances promise to put audiences in a joyful Christmas mood.

The 33rd annual Fall Revue is booked from Dec. 5-8 at Clinton High School’s auditorium. Musical selections will include a mix of popular favorites from many styles of music including Christmas and will conclude with a preview of the 2013 competition set. The performances begin each evening at 7:30 p.m.
