Boil water alert issued for Edwards | Health
JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - The Town of Edwards has issued a boil water alert for its customers due to a loss in pressure.
This affects nearly 2,000 customers.
The pressure loss was due to a malfunction at the switch box, according to the Mississippi State Department of Health.
Health officials recommend all water be boiled vigorously for one minute before it's consumed.
The water system will be notified when test show that the water is safe to drink.
