Woman killed in morning accident on Highway 467 | News

HINDS COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - A 30-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Hinds County Friday morning.
The accident happened shortly before 8 a.m. on Highway 467 and North Chapel Hill Road.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol a silver Toyota Camry driven by Shametra Stamps, 30, of Hinesville, Ga., was travelling southbound on Highway 467.
A maroon GMC 2500 Sierra driven by Paul Duke, 54, of Chunky, was travelling west on North Chapel Hill Road.
The GMC hit the driver's side of the Camry as the GMC travelled onto Highway 467. Stamps was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both driver's were wearing seatbelts.
No charges have been filed at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
