Arrest made in fatal July 4th shooting
JACKSON, MS (WLBT)- Authorities have arrested a man wanted in connection to a deadly shooting in the Capital City on the 4th of July.
Jeremy Walters was taken into custody Friday by officials with the department of corrections.
Walters is charged with murder in the death of 21-year-old Fredrick Williams.
The shooting happened Wednesday at the Pebble Creek Apartments on Manhattan Road in Jackson.
Williams was found by JPD Officers lying in the street near building "P".
Tenants at the complex say an ongoing argument led to the shooting.
