Pets of the Week: J.L. and Elanor | Pets

HINDS COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - This week’s Pets of the Week are J.L. and Elanor.

They are two of 13 boxer mix puppies that were abandoned in a dumpster when they were two days old and rescued by Community Animal Rescue & Adoption, or CARA.

The 13 puppies and their mother are going to be featured in the March 1 issue of Cesars Way magazine.

If you are interested in adopting J.L, Elanor or any of the 42 available puppies at CARA, a no-kill animal rescue in Jackson, complete the dog application form.

The Newk's in Clinton is having a fundraiser for CARA Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. Bring dog food or cat litter and get a free drink with your order.

CARA is in immediate need of canned puppy food, newpaper and paper towels. If you can donate any items, please take them to the shelter, located at 960 N. Flag Chapel Road, or to a drop off location:
