RIDGELAND, MS (WLBT) - The closed section of the Natchez Trace Parkway south of Ridgeland will reopen Nov. 13.
The National Park Service announced Monday that repairs to the damaged section of the road are complete.
The 8-mile section of the parkway from Ridgeland to Clinton had been closed to vehicles since March.
The National Park Service partnered with the Federal Highway Administration to make the repairs after engineers identified instability to an embankment that could have caused to roadway to collape.
