Equestrian Team Saddles Up for 6th Season at MC | Schools

Horses with names like Stainless Steel, Highland Laddie, Forever Young and Hale Bopp are a big part of Mississippi College’s equestrian team.

The horses are among the favorites for riders on the MC squad that begins its sixth season this fall.

Another vital part of the team is new head coach Tina Davey. The 27-year-old California native is optimistic about prospects for a successful season with a fast- growing roster of 25 MC students in September. “We have a strong team this year made up of some fantastic riders.”
