Natchez Trace Parkway: Slow down in amphibian habitat
HINDS COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - The National Park Service has announced a 35 mph speed zone on a two-mile section of the Natchez Trace Parkway in Hinds County south of Interstate 20.
The speed zone will be in effect from now through April.
The park service says the area is a sensitive amphibian habitat. The speed zone will improve safety for researchers from the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science, U.S.
